Noted landmarks such as the Heritage Park Fountain and The Kissing Couple. on Percival Landing were made possible because of citizen donations. The performing arts stage at Lacey's Huntamer Park and the Olympia Skate Court also were established with contributions of money, equipment, and labor. Park benches, trails, and playground equipment in many parks have been provided by donors and volunteers. Recreation sponsorships have been received by Tumwater, Lacey, Olympia, and Thurston County.
Help us continue the tradition of giving. Make a difference in our community through your donation of money, land, or equipment.
Many parks throughout Thurston County would not be here without the generous donations of visionary citizens. Examples:
Burfoot Park, County
Lakepointe Park, Lacey
LBA Park, Olympia
Lions Park, Olympia
Louise H. Meyer Park, County
Priest Point Park, Olympia
Wanschers Park, Lacey
